Jewelry care

What material we use:

Our jewelry is made with stainless steel as a base metal, and to give it that luxury feel, we are adding 18K PVD gold plating.

18 karat-gold plating means that the gold layer coated over the stainless steel  contains 75% of pure gold.

PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition, a process that coats gold onto a base metal to create a shiny and durable finish. The coating used in PVD is made of titanium nitride, which makes the jewelry water-resistant, resistant to tarnishing, and able to withstand regular wear and sweat. Unlike standard gold plating methods which may fade or wear off over time, PVD gold plating is highly resistant to fading, discoloration, and tarnishing. The process creates a strong bond between the gold layer and the base metal, ensuring that the jewelry retains its color and luster for an extended period.

What is stainless steel:

Stainless steel is a highly durable metal and near scratch proof, it resists corrosion and oxidation thanks to an invisible layer of chromium, this makes it a wonder metal of choice for jewelry allowing it to withstand the wear and tear of everyday activities.

Stainless steel jewelry offers various advantages, making it an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin to certain metals. One of its notable properties is its hypoallergenic nature, which is particularly beneficial for individuals with metal sensitivities. While stainless steel may contain trace amounts of nickel, it is bound in a way that prevents the release of nickel ions onto the skin. As a result, stainless steel is considered hypoallergenic rather than completely nickel-free, making it a safe option for most nickel-sensitive wearers. However, it's essential to note that extremely hypersensitive skin individuals may experience a reaction, this depends on how your sensitive skin is, though such cases are uncommon.
